Identity Photography

- What is Identity?
How someone sees and portrays themselves. 
- How does their work address identity? 
 It explore how people feel about themselves and things they may not show the world. 
- What do you like about their work? (What do you admire about their work? Why did you choose it? What inspires you?)

What do you like about this genre of photography?
I like the different ways people can be captured. 
- What do you dislike?
taking pictures of strangers. 
- What kinds of portraiture are you drawn to?
minimal, shallow depth of field, cold colors 
- What can the background communicate about the subject?
what they have in their life, how they are portrayed. a busy background shows a crazy hectic life, whereas a blurry blank background shows mystery.
- What are some reasons photographers might photograph their families?
They know a lot about the subject and they usually have access to the subject at most times of their life.
